Associate Professor, DSU · CEO & Co-founder, AikyaNova
I am an Associate Professor at Dayananda Sagar University and CEO & Co-founder of AikyaNova (AikNovTek Technologies Private Limited), working at the intersection of nanotechnology, biomedical devices, and AI-driven drug discovery.
An IIT Madras alumnus, I completed an integrated M.Sc.–Ph.D. in under three years with a perfect 10/10 CGPA, and hold a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from PES University (formerly PESIT), Bengaluru, with 10/10 CGPA, a gold medal, distinction in all eight semesters, and the "Best Outgoing Student" award.
I've authored 32+ peer-reviewed publications across journal articles and conference papers - including IEEE Transactions, ACS, IET, and Springer titles - plus one Indian patent under examination: "A Method and System for Green Extraction of Protein from Peanut Meal" (Application No. 202541000961). I'm an investigator on four competitively funded projects totalling ₹62.7 lakh from ANRF (Govt. of India), AICTE-RPS, and institutional seed schemes, spanning portable electrospinning devices for wound care, plant extract-loaded nanoparticles for targeted cancer therapy, and high-voltage discharge-based valorization of agri-residues.
I co-lead SynTech Bio Solutions, an interdisciplinary laboratory translating this research into deployable technology, and in 2025 founded AikyaNova to commercialize it. My background includes over three years of research at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, sustained international collaborations, mentoring of postgraduate and doctoral researchers, IEEE Senior Membership, IEEE Nanotechnology Council membership, and peer review for IEEE, IET, ACS, and Elsevier.
Always open to collaborations, research discussions, and industry-academia partnerships. Let's connect and explore how technology can drive the future of healthcare and biomedical engineering.
